The ground series is an ongoing collection of digital photos taken of the ground in and around New York City. I built a special tripod adapter that holds the camera facing down at the ground 3 feet in front of the tripod so that the legs do not show up in the frame. In some of the photos I am attempting to compose interesting aspects of the ground into the frame. In other shots, I  just saw something weird or curious and shot a picture of it.
